The technological advancements held within the walls of Xavier's Institute never ceased to impress Petra. The capabilities within these walls are advancements in science that Petra never thought she'd be able to see, and constantly was thrilled when it showed itself in action. Petra flinched slightly as the dragon’s roar split through the square, taking a small catch breath breath. She flicked her gaze skyward, watching the arc of its wings and the plume of fire that licked down toward the street.<br><br>Medieval town. Narrow choke points. Poor visibility. Towering flames. Lots of civilians. She didn’t say any of this aloud; she didn’t need to, knowing that her squadmates were likely running the same observations in their heads. <br><br><b>&quot;An ancient red dragon,&quot;</b> she echoed flatly, shifting into a ready stance. <b>&quot;Of course.&quot;</b><br><br>She had barely opened her mouth when the trumpets began blasting. No slow build; Storm wanted chaos from the start. Her gaze swept the battlefield quickly, taking in the tall towers and buildings burning around her, causing limited visibility through smoke and narrow choke points. That <i>could</i> work in their favor, if they were smart about it. <br><br><b>&quot;I think we’ll get boxed in fast if we stay here.&quot;</b> She said, looking at the others with a stern look and furrowed brow, <b>&quot;It could help us if we got high ground or cover. Maybe clear a path through the soldiers? That tower might give us a vantage point.&quot;</b> Petra motioned toward a crumbling bell tower at the edge of the ruined square. <br><br>Another roar bellowed overhead. Petra turned her attention back toward the dragon, her braid swaying behind her and gritting her teeth silently. Under her breath, almost too quiet to hear, she muttered <b>&quot;Let's see what dragons are really made of...&quot;</b><br><br>
