There was something downright sexy about a woman who knew how to get answers out of a man. A cowering one, at that. In that back room, away from the gunfire and the smell of charred flesh, the air was clearer. Had it not been for the stink of sulfur from Pyro's flames, Victor would have almost commended the good preacher on his cologne. But instead he was subjected to the stench of so many things it made Sabretooth huff with indignation. Their mission was over the moment Bob fucking Bell ran.<br><br>Mystique's shout caught his attention, though.<br><br>Forcing all power into his legs, his muscles tensing with the pretense of a leap, he did so, claws extending as he caught the back bumper of the truck, barely catching on the armored metal. He held tight, reaching into the pocket of his coat and drawing out a small spider-like device, slamming it hard under the bumper before letting go, rolling in the dirt to a stop.<br><br>Scrapes and bruises began to heal instantly, leaving the feral mutant in a state of healthy repair. He stood, slowly at first, then quickly to recover his posture, fingers curling at his sides, claws still extended with adrenaline. One of the best things he'd done in a long time.<br><br>But was he going to tell Mystique and her ilk? The Morlocks were not a concern of his, save a precious few, but Victor didn't have friends or enemies, only allie and adversaries. It made him the perfect killing machine to have no attachment to people whatsoever. And it showed, occasionally. Like when he turned back to the crew Mystique had managed to gather. Never mind most if not all were former Brotherhood. Now, why was there the stench of dog lingering in the air?<br><br>Oh, it was coming from his coat.<br><br>No doubt werewolf hairs left behind.
